When it comes to comparing Gran Turismo to real life, it doesn't get much more on the nose than using a Mitsubishi Evo - my very own 2002 Evo 7 GTA to be more specific, which I of course owned last year for a while. I'd been keen to see how it stacks up against the in-game version which featured in the GT series up until GT6, and now that I've finally booted up the old PS3 after quite some time I decided to use the opportunity to compare the real car to Gran Turismo 5 rather than 6, since we haven't featured GT5 before in the 'Game vs Real' series...

With that in mind, let's find out how a quintessentially JDM-favouring game showcases this far more specialised and rare iteration of the legendary Lancer Evolution VII, in comparison to the real life version!
