PGR4 | TVR Typhon Review | Project Gotham Racing 4
65We're back! Its been a minute since I featured some retro gaming content on the channel with the likes of Forza, Project Gotham and TDU, so here we are dropping right back to it with another of my personal favourite cars in Project Gotham Racing 4 - the often overlooked TVR Typhon.
Spawning from the idea of a Le Mans racing TVR model, the Typhon evolved from the Tuscan R programme and later into the T400/T440R in its customer-ready form, with either 2 or 4 seats depending on the buyer choosing the regular or extended size fuel tank.
With a distinct fastback hardtop design, design elements shared with the far better known Tuscan, and genuinely phenomenal performance from a sub 450 horsepower car even by today's standards, there was so much to love about the Typhon, but unfortunately TVR's bankruptcy ultimately culled off all of their models en masse, with only a handful of these stunning oddities ever sold...thankfully though we can drive versions of the project in a number of games at the time - including here in PGR4 - so let's talk about it!
