Any who have followed this channel for a decent length of time will know how much love I have for Test Drive Unlimited, or TDU as it is commonly called. And after quite a long hiatus I have made a return to featuring some of these modern-retro racing games which I used to talk on quite a bit here on the channel.

This time around we are talking about another DLC pack car from TDU1 in the form of the equally iconic Mercedes CLK-GTR, the legendary road going homologation special of the CLK-GTR race car which competed in the upper echelons of racing against the likes of the Porsche 911 GT1, Nissan R390 and Lotus Elise GT1 (not to mention my personal favourite of the group - the Panoz GTR-1).

In TDU the CLK-GTR doesn't quite feel as OP as it does in virtually every other videogame which has featured it, from Project Gotham to Forza and beyond, with TDU's penchant for straight line speed leaving this stunning AMG mostly in the dust around the streets of Hawaii. But even so its an incredible car from an awesome game, and one which its time to talk about here on HSG Automotive!
