To 1v1 a friend in Marvel Rivals using a custom game, follow these steps:

Create a Custom Game:

From the main menu, select Play, then click on More Modes and choose Custom Game under the Rivalry tab.
Click Create to open a new custom lobby.
Invite Your Friend:

Once you’re in the custom game lobby, click the Plus symbol or Invite button to add your friend to the lobby.

Send them an invite, and once they accept, they will be added to your custom game.

Adjust the Settings:

Make sure the lobby is set up for a 1v1 match. You can configure it to have only two players, disable bots, and choose the map you want to play on.
Start the Match:

Once everything is set, click Start to begin your 1v1 match.
