How to activate pocket mode on Android and forget about ghost touches
In this video, we show you step by step how to activate Pocket Mode on Android to avoid annoying ghost touches and accidental unlocking of your phone.
We often put our phone in our pocket or purse, and without realizing it, it starts to raise or lower the volume, open apps, or even unlock itself. It happened to us, and it almost caused us serious problems, so we decided to share this simple but very useful tutorial.
In practice, Pocket Mode locks the touchscreen and buttons when it detects that the device is stored in a pocket, purse, or backpack. This way, we prevent the phone from reacting to accidental touches, protecting both our privacy and the battery.
In the video, we walk through the phone settings step by step to find the option: go to Lock Screen and activate the Pocket Mode switch. We also want to point out that, depending on the make and model of your smartphone, the option may appear in a different section, but you can always easily find it by typing "pocket mode" in the settings search bar.
With this feature enabled, we can take our phone anywhere without worrying about unwanted unlocking or accidental calls. A small but powerful tool that improves the daily user experience.
