A great way to start the game is to find Windmills with help of binoculars. Windmills will give you extra protection and faction bonuses. Also when you are running during the night they will help you a lot. For example, a chase during the night might be harsh - but you can get into the safety of the windmill and the chase will end. Windmills are safe zones in Dying Light 2.
How to Assign Windmills to Survivors or Peace Keepers
- You cant.
They get the faction bonus that controls that zone. You assign Water Towers and Power stations. If you give them to survivors - windmills will reflect that choice.
To activate Windmills, you have to find them (Use binoculars from the rooftop to find them easy) you'll need to solve parkour puzzles and climb to the top of the windmill to reset fuses / repair them (No materials needed). They have stamina requirements so have to increase your stamina rating by finding Inhibitors and applying them to your stamina level so you can solve the parkour puzzle, more locations will become available throughout the game. One thing though - one requires the paraglider and one requires the grappling hook - no other way to reach them.
