Follow the steps below add moon phase widgets to home screen:
1. Download and install the Widgetsmith app to your iPhone or iPad.
2. Open the Widgetsmith app and begin configuring your desired widget sizes. The moon phase widget is only compatible with the small and medium widget sizes.
3. To begin making your moon phase widget simply select Add Widget next to your desired size then select the widget.
4. Select Default Widget
5. Now under Style find the Astronomy section and select Moon Phase.
6. Then at the bottom of the screen select Location and configure your desired location for your moon phase widget.
7. Select the back arrow in the top left.
8. Select Save.
9. Now to add the moon phase widget to your homescreen, long press the homescreen on your iPhone or iPad until a + symbol is shown in the top.
10. Select the + symbol then find and select Widgetsmith.
11. Select your widget size and then select Add Widget.
