Steps:
- If there is a file on your phone that you use frequently, creating a file shortcut to your homescreen is a great time saving option.
- The first thing to do is open up the files app and locate the file that you want to create a shortcut for.
- Hold down on the file to select it.
- Then tap on the three vertical dots more button in the bottom right corner.
- Choose ‘add to homescreen’ from the options.
- You can now hold down on the file icon and then drag it to wherever you would like to place it on the homescreen.
- You can now tap on this shortcut whenever you would like to open your file.
