Steps:
- Open up finder from the dock, then click ‘applications’ from the left sidebar.
- Find the application that you would like to add to your desktop.
- Then drag and drop the application onto the desktop.
- You can now double-click on the app icon to open the app.
- To remove app icons from your desktop you can drag and drop them into the trash.
- This will just remove the app icon from the desktop, not remove the app from your mac.
