Steps:
- Click on the apple icon in the top left corner of the homepage.
- Then click ‘lock screen’ from the dropdown menu.
- You will be brought to the lock screen.
- You will have to enter your password or use touch ID to unlock the screen again.
- There is also a keyboard shortcut you can use to lock the mac screen.
- Press the ‘control’, ‘command’, and ‘Q’ keys simultaneously to lock the screen.
