Steps:

- To start, click on the apple button in the top left corner.

- Choose ‘system settings’ from the dropdown menu.

- Choose ‘sound’ from the left sidebar menu.

- Find ‘play sound on startup’ and click the toggle to turn it off.

- When off the toggle will be gray.

- Your mac will no longer make a sound on startup.
