How to Add Photo in Video in InShot !
If you want to add a photo to a video using the InShot video editor app, the process is simple but slightly hidden within the app’s features. First, open the InShot app and tap on the “Video” option to start a new project. Select the video you want to edit from your gallery. Once your video is loaded into the timeline, you might expect to find an obvious photo option, but instead, you’ll need to use the “Sticker” feature as a workaround.
At the bottom of the screen, tap on the “Sticker” icon, which looks like a small emoji. Inside the sticker menu, you’ll see a “+” icon—tap on it to add a new sticker. Here’s where the trick comes in: instead of adding a typical sticker, look for the small gallery icon that resembles a photo. Tap this icon to access your photo library. From there, you can either select an image directly or use the “Cutout” feature if you want to remove the background from the photo for a cleaner overlay effect. After selecting your photo, tap the arrow or checkmark to confirm.
Now your photo will appear as an overlay on your video. You can drag and resize the photo, position it anywhere on the screen, and adjust its appearance duration by dragging the photo layer in the timeline. InShot also allows you to add effects to the photo, such as animations or filters, to make it stand out. Once you’re satisfied with the placement and timing, tap the checkmark at the top to finalize the edit. This method is perfect for adding logos, watermarks, or decorative images to your videos with ease.
