Align Your Digital Photos Correctly
This video will show you how to fix those annoying flipped or turned photos on your digital photo frames, smart phone, tablet and computer.
I explain IN DETAIL how EXIF Data works, orientation values and show real-world examples.

EXIF data is a little confusing but I make every effort to explain it in simple and easy to understand terms so that all your photos will appear as they are supposed to and in the correct orientation.

NOTE: Values with "*" are uncommon since they represent "flipped" orientations.

EXIF ORIENTATION VALUES IN LAYMAN'S TERMS (MY WORK):
1 (Default, normal orientation)
2 (Uncommon - flipped horizontally)*
3 (Rotated Right 180° or flipped vertically then flipped horizontally)
4 (Uncommon - flipped vertically)*
5 (Uncommon - rotated left 90° then flipped vertically)*
6 (Rotated right 90°)
7 (Uncommon - rotated right 90° then flipped vertically)*
8 (Rotated left 90°)

STEPS TO USE QUICK EXIF EDITOR (THE PROGRAM USED IN THE VIDEO):
#1. Install Quick EXIF Editor
#2. Run Quick EXIF Editor
#3. Click the OPEN button near the top right and choose the photos you want to edit or examine
* You may open as many photos as you like but ALL photos in the editor will be edited by the changes you make.
If you only want to change ONE photo - only open that ONE photo.
#4. Use the drop-down list near the top to choose the specific photo you would like to edit or examine
#5. Use the drop-down list near in the middle to choose a EXIF data category
#6. See the "Value" text box for information about the chosen EXIF data category
#7. Place mouse cursor inside "Value" text box to edit chosen EXIF data.
#8. Click the "ADD TO QUEUE" button and then the "COMMIT CHANGES" button.
#9. See the "SAVE DIALOG" dialogue window. Check or uncheck "Make A Copy" to automatically create a backup of the photos being edited.
#10. Read the "RESULTS LOG" dialogue window.
