Preparation
Download the Latest System Software:

Visit the official PlayStation Support website and download the PS5 Reinstallation File.

Save the file on a USB drive (formatted to FAT32 or exFAT) in the following folder structure:

PS5 - UPDATE
Name the file: PS5UPDATE.PUP.
Back Up Your Data (Optional):

If your console is functional and you want to preserve game data, back it up to an external drive or the cloud:
Settings - System - System Software - Back Up and Restore.
Note: This process will erase all data on the console.
Prepare Your USB Drive:

Ensure the USB drive is formatted correctly and has at least 1 GB of free space.

Reinstalling the System Software
Enter Safe Mode:
