Method 1: Using the PS Button
Press the PS Button
Tap the PS button on your controller once to open the Control Center at the bottom of the screen.
Navigate to the Power Options
Use the D-pad or thumbstick to scroll to the Power icon (a circle with a line through the top) on the far right of the Control Center.
Select "Turn Off PS5"
Press the X button to open the Power Options menu.
Select Turn Off PS5 and press X to confirm.
Method 2: Rest Mode (Optional)
If you want to put your PS5 in Rest Mode instead:
Follow the same steps above, but select Enter Rest Mode instead of Turn Off PS5.
Method 3: Force Shutdown (If Unresponsive)
If your system is frozen or unresponsive:
