This video will show you how to back up the installer files of a game you've previously downloaded and installed on Steam, and will also show you how to restore (how to install) the game you have backed up from Steam into a new installation of Steam. This can be useful if you're transferring your Steam account and downloaded games from one computer to another, if you are formatting your hard disk drive (HDD)and reinstalling Windows and Steam, or even if you simply wish to use Steam on different computers dependent on which computer is accessible to you at any given time. Since this allows the user bypass the need to re-download these games from the Steam servers, this method saves both time and internet bandwidth.
