WARNING - I will NOT be held responsible for any damages the software(s) and methods shown in this video may cause to yours or someone else's computer, hardware, software, and/or data, including loss of use of such devices and/or loss of data and/or loss of profits from the resulting inability to use such devices and data. Any information or program you choose to put into use from this video is done AT YOUR OWN RISK. As a precaution, I recommend backing up any irrecoverable data before installing and using ANY new software(s), including those shown in this video.

This video will show you how to back up the installer files of a game you've previously downloaded and installed on Steam, and will also show you how to restore (how to install) the game you have backed up from Steam into a new installation of Steam. This can be useful if you're transferring your Steam account and downloaded games from one computer to another, if you are formatting your hard disk drive (HDD)and reinstalling Windows and Steam, or even if you simply wish to use Steam on different computers dependent on which computer is accessible to you at any given time. Since this allows the user bypass the need to re-download these games from the Steam servers, this method saves both time and internet bandwidth.
