Mini DV Keychain Spy Camera review (purchased off of eBay from China)
9This is my review of a Mini DV Keychain Spy Camera, available on sites such as eBay, Amazon, and other Chinese manufactured electronic resellers. The product is a key fob with LED light indicator, mini USB-B form factor port, Micro SD transflash card port, with camera and microphone port holes. This video covers operational instructions to capture pictures and record video in a zoomed-in, slightly out-of-focus 720p video. Although recognized as a USB mass storage device, the AVI files recorded by this device can not be played in VLC Media Player, but do open in Windows Media Player. These devices retail for around $5 to $6 each with Micro SD card sold separately.
UPDATE: In the end, all of my Mini DV Keychain Spy Cameras died out, refusing to subsequently charge. Leaving these devices for a few weeks without power sometimes permits them to come back to life and once again charge however, but you cannot use them electronically for these few weeks during their refusal to charge period.
