In Chrono Trigger for SNES, there is a bit of a misconception that you can't consistently get a unanimous non guilty verdict in the trial for Chrono Trigger. Here the guide showing you it is indeed possible. Reference this description for a few talking points I didn't have time to cram into this minute long video.

After colliding with Marle, be sure to check on her first before grabbing the Pendant.

I didn't actually test this, but obviously give her pendant back when she asks for it.

It doesn't matter if you tell her she can't come with you or not. Just tell her "Sure" when she asks to come along.

Do NOT eat the pink bag of food over by Gato under after the trial.

If you speak with Melchior, DON'T try to talk Marle into selling her Pendant.

Do NOT try to move while Marle is deciding what candy she wants before viewing the telepod demonstration.

The part with the little girl and her cat is the part everyone messes up. This part is bugged so if you talk to the little girl before bringing her cat back you will get a Guilty verdict from one of the judges no matter what. You also still get guilty if you have the cat following you, but aren't close enough to trigger the correct dialogue. The first dialogue from the little girl must be the "Thanks for bringing me back my cat mister" dialogue in order to get a not guilty here.

In Court, tell the Chancellor that you were responsible for starting this whole mess.

Then finally when you are asked if her fortune tempted you, tell the Chancellor, No, and that you weren't tempted at all.

If done correctly you'll get a 100% not guilty vote every time. You're reward for doing so is 6 Ethers.
