Disregard any Fighting game tactics you may know and turtle like crazy. The AI will rarely if ever grab you out of it. Stick to a high block as the AI is much more unlikely to use lows compared to overheads when blocking low. Use your anti air or Launcher to swat Squall out of the air when he jumps.
