so i am making this video because elementalist is always labeled as a low cc class and for the most part that is true but at the same time i feel like whenever i see someone on heal tempest (or heal cata but that is a lot more rare) they aren't even trying in any capacity to do any cc whatsoever. which is bad because you would expect your healer to be the one contributing the most since they can sacrifice runes/sigils/utilities/traits/weapons to boost their cc if needed.
i thought i would showcase what you can do to cc more for whoever might need to see this. i chose the most heavy cc oriented raid boss which is Samarog and a run from a weekly full clear with my static which means we have rather fast phases and more people who are doing cc other than me. my rotation wasn't as clean as it could have been but it was ok for the most part and it can give you a general idea of the concept. you don't need to be asura for this, i just wanted to take advantage of everything in my disposal. if not asura just replace that slot with a useful utility for the fight.
on bosses with breakbars that appear less often (gorseval, slothasor, matthias sacrifice, qtp pylons) you can mostly have your air/water 4 accessible and off cd plus air 3/elemental elite and maybe slot frost bow if neccessary since it's contribution is the biggest.
or just switch to something that does more cc almost effortlesly
