Windows allows you to change the color and size of your mouse cursor. Changing between the different pointer options changes how your mouse works and interacts. Having a colored cursor will slightly change the appearance of different pointers you’re used to.

Giving a color to your pointer can make it easier to see common background colors. This also allows you to choose between a balck and mouse default cursor.

Increasing your pointer size can help for larger resolution monitors. It allows you to scale your cursor so that it better suits the resolution and size of your screen.
