This video will teach you how to clip and record gameplay with Nvidia Shadowplay. You can use shadowplay to record gameplay highlights after they have already happened. Nvidia allows you to do this by temporarily storing cached versions of your gameplay.

Shadowplay also gives you the ability to record videos live as they happen. Doing this means the file will always be saved.

Before recording it is recommended that you set your resolution, bitrate and audio settings for your videos. The higher the bitrate the better quality the video, however the larger the file. You may also set the audio to use your microphone and gameplay as separate audio tracks.

Both the live recording, and replay feature can be controlled using the keyboard shortcuts. You can change your hotkeys to suit, and use macro buttons to activate them.
