If you’d like to change the file format for photos and videos on your iPhone, follow these steps:

Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and select Camera.

Under Formats, choose Most Compatible instead of High Efficiency.
By making this adjustment, your photos will be saved as JPEG files, and videos will be saved in H.264 MPEG format, which is more widely supported across devices. Keep in mind that these formats are larger and will take up more space on your iPhone. If storage is a concern, consider using cloud storage or switching back to High Efficiency mode when necessary
