In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you how to edit and change the type of infected zombies that spawn at events on your DayZ Community Server for PC, PlayStation & Xbox Consoles.

Also, below, you'll find a complete list of all the different types of infected zombie groups you could use at a dynamic event.

Using this method you, for example, could change the infected at Bonfires to priests, or make the zombies at helicopter crashes be the harder military types, with helmets and bulletproof vests.

The line we're looking to edit in our Server Missions events.xml file is the one marked up as "secondary" and we can then change it to one of the other types of zombie spawn events, eg:

"InfectedCity"
"InfectedCityTier1"
"InfectedFirefighter"
"InfectedIndustrial"
"InfectedMedic"
"InfectedNBC"
