How to Change Instagram Password If Forgotten Old Password 2022

Open Instagram on your phone. Instead of logging in on the bottom right, you can see the option Forgot password. Click the blue text which says forgot password. Once you tap on the forgot password button you can see a pop-up that says trouble logging in enter your username phone number or email and we will send you a link to get back into your account so enter the username of the account you've forgotten the password of. Once you are sure you've entered the correct username click on next. Instagram will provide you two options if you've enabled it: if you have integrated email into your Instagram account Instagram will send you a link in your email to reset it: or if you've opened your Instagram id using your phone number, Instagram will also send you a code on your phone to reset your account choose an option whichever is convenient for you for the purpose of this video I am going to select an email. Once you select your options click on the send login link. As you can see the pop-up which says email sent we sent an email to this dot com with the link to get back into your account click on ok and check your inbox wait for a while to receive the message instagram will provide you two options the first one is to log into your instagram without resetting your password the other option is to reset your password so since we have forgotten our password select the second option which says reset your password once you click on the link which instagram has sent you via mail it will ask you to enter a new password here type in the new password which you want to use for your account make sure that it is a very memorable password so that you won't forget it next time once you're happy with your password type it again to reconfirm it and then click on reset password now you have successfully reseted your instagram password on your iphone now you can go ahead and try to login with your new instagram username and password so this is how you can easily reset your password on your phone using email or your phone number.
