In this tutorial video, I will quickly guide you on how you can fix your Windows 10 slow performance issue after the update.

Method 1: Uninstalling Updates

The first step is to go and uninstall your updates. So in the search box type in view your update history. Once you see the option to view your update history, simply click on it. Wait for the settings page to load up. On the top left, you can see the option to uninstall updates. Simply click on it. Here you can select and uninstall the update which you believe you think is actually causing the problem.

Method 2: Running SFC Scan

Open Command Prompt as an Administrator. Type in the following command sfc /scannow Press Enter and wait for the scan to be complete. Restart your computer to see if the problem has been fixed.

Method 3: Disabling Background Application

Search background apps in the search bar. Open the option and simply uncheck the Allow Apps to Run in the Background option. This will disable the apps in the background which may be causing your windows to be slow.

Method 4: Performing a Clean Boot

Go to System Configuration ~ Services Tab. Check the Hide Microsoft Services. And uncheck the apps which are running during boot. Then go to Task Manager. Then select Startup Tab. Then disable the apps which starts up automatically when the PC boots.

Final Nuclear Option: Performing a Factory Reset

The last resort for the slow Windows 10 issue is to use the Windows Factory Reset and start from scratch. Be warned though, as this is a nuclear option that will take your computer to the original, fresh state when you bought it.
