To change the background picture on your PS5 home screen, follow these steps:

Turn on your PS5 and navigate to the home screen.
Go to Settings by selecting the gear icon.

Select “Personalization” from the settings menu.
Under the “Theme” section, choose “Background.”
You will see a list of pre-installed backgrounds. Scroll through and select the one you want to use1.

If you want to use a custom image, you can follow these additional steps:

Go to your profile and select “Edit Profile.”
Select “Cover Image” and choose “Change Image.”
Use the PS5 web browser to find an image you like, take a screenshot, and save it.

Select the screenshot as your new cover image and confirm
