How to Change your Default Microphone on OBS (Easy Tutorial)
To change your default microphone in OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), follow these steps:
Open OBS: Launch OBS on your computer.
Access Audio Settings:
Click on the gear icon (Settings) in the lower-right corner of the OBS window.
Navigate to the “Audio” tab.
Select Your Microphone:
Under the “Mic/Auxiliary Audio” section, you’ll see a dropdown menu next to the microphone icon.
Click on the dropdown menu and choose the microphone you want to set as the default input.
Apply Changes:
Click the “OK” button to save your settings.
That’s it! Your selected microphone is now set as the default input for OBS. Remember to adjust any additional audio settings or filters as needed for optimal sound quality during your broadcasts or recordings.

Right-click the Speaker Icon:

Choose the Recording Tab:
In the “Sounds” window, go to the “Recording” tab.
Enable Disabled Devices:
Right-click anywhere in the window and check the option to “Show Disabled Devices.”
Find your microphone device, right-click on it, and select “Enable.”
Set as Default Device:
Right-click the microphone again and choose “Set as Default Device
