2Placing your Apple AirPods into Bluetooth pairing mode is a simple process. Here’s how you can do it:
For AirPods (1st, 2nd, 3rd Generation) and AirPods Pro
Open the AirPods Case:
Open the lid of your AirPods case with the AirPods inside.
Activate Pairing Mode:
Press and hold the button on the back of the AirPods case.
Keep holding the button until the status light on the front of the case starts flashing white. This indicates the AirPods are in pairing mode.
For AirPods Max
Take Your AirPods Max Out of the Smart Case:
Ensure your AirPods Max are not in the Smart Case.
Activate Pairing Mode:
Press and hold the noise control button (the button on the right ear cup) until the status light flashes white. This indicates the AirPods Max are in pairing mode.
Additional Tips
Keep Devices Nearby:
