To change your profile background on the Steam Deck, follow these steps:

Switch to Desktop Mode:
Press the Steam button to open the Steam menu.
Navigate to “Power” and select “Switch to Desktop.”
Open Steam in Desktop Mode:

Once in Desktop Mode, open the Steam application.
Edit Your Profile:

Click on your username in the top right corner and select “View Profile.”
Click on the “Edit Profile” button.
Choose a Background:

In the profile editing menu, click on “Profile Background.”
Select a background from your inventory or purchase one from the Community Market.

Save Changes:
Adjust the size and position of the background if needed.
Save your changes to update your profile background.
