To make your items and inventory private on your Steam Deck profile, follow these steps:

Open Steam: Launch the Steam application on your Steam Deck.
Go to Your Profile: Click on your username in the top right corner and select “View my profile.”

Edit Profile: Click the “Edit Profile” button.
Privacy Settings: On the left side, select the “Privacy Settings” tab.
Set Inventory to Private: Find the “Inventory” section and use the drop-down menu to select “Private.”

Save Changes: Make sure to save your changes.
