Follow the steps below to change YouTube banner on mobile:
1. Open the browser on your iPhone or Android phone and navigate to YouTube.com. Sign in to your YouTube account
2. Open the menu in your browser and select Request Desktop Mode.
3. Select your channel profile picture in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Then select Your Channel.
4. Select Customize Channel.
5. In the top menu, select Branding
6. Under Branding, find Banner and then select Add or Change.
7. Find your new YouTube channel banner on your phone and select it.
8. Crop the image if needed and select done.
9. To save your new YouTube banner select publish.
