How to remove tiles from Windows 10 desktop? In this tutorial, I show you how to get rid of desktop tiles on your Windows 10 laptop or PC. Tiles on the Windows 10 desktop can be cause by your PC being in Tablet mode. Turning off Windows 10 tablet mode is easy and will remove tiles from your desktop. Follow the steps below to turn off desktop tiles in Windows 10:
1. Select the Windows start button in the bottom right of your screen.
2. In the start menu, select the gear for settings.
3. In the settings, select System.
4. Find and select Tablet in the left sidebar.
5. Select the dropdown next to the first option under Tablet. Select either Desktop mode or Never use Tablet mode.
6. You can now close the Windows 10 settings. If the tiles are still there, simply reboot your PC.
