Follow the steps below to ban words on a Discord server:
1. Go to https://mee6.xyz and select Login to link your Discord account with the MEE6 bot.
2. On the MEE6 website select your username, then select My Servers.
3. Select Setup server for the server you want to add a custom welcome message to. Go through the process of authorizing the MEE6 bot on your server.
4. Once the bot has been added to your server, go back to the MEE6 website and select Moderator. Enable the plugin if needed.
5. On the Moderator page, scroll down to auto moderator and select Settings next to bad words.
6. In the bad words settings, add words you'd like to block on your Discord server to the bad words list. Ensure each word is added with a white background.
7. Select OK.
8. Next select the drop-down under bad words and select your desired action when a bad word is posted on your Discord Server. You can choose to have MEE6 delete the message, warn the member, or delete & warn the member.
9. Select Save.
