How to Connect to Hotel WIFI on PS4 Console (Easy Tutorial)
0Access the PS4 Network Settings:
Turn on your PS4 and go to the main menu.
Scroll to the far right and select the "Settings" menu.
Go to Network Settings:
Within the "Settings" menu, scroll down and select "Network."
Set Up Internet Connection:
Choose "Set Up Internet Connection."
Select either "Use Wi-Fi" or "Use a LAN Cable" depending on your preferred connection method. In this case, we'll proceed with "Use Wi-Fi."
Select Wi-Fi Network:
If you're prompted to select a Wi-Fi network, choose the hotel's Wi-Fi network from the list.
Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network if required.
Manual IP Address Settings:
In the IP Address Settings, choose "Manual" instead of "Automatic."
Set Up DNS Settings:
For the DNS Settings, select "Manual."
Enter the DNS server addresses. You can use Google's public DNS servers: Primary DNS - 8.8.8.8, Secondary DNS - 8.8.4.4.
Complete the Setup:
Follow the prompts to complete the internet connection setup.
Open the Web Browser:
Once connected, open the PS4 web browser.
Accept Terms and Authenticate:
The hotel Wi-Fi network may require you to accept terms of use or enter a password through a web page. Use the web browser to navigate to any web page. The hotel's login or authentication page should appear automatically.
Log In or Accept Terms:
Follow the instructions on the login or authentication page. This might involve accepting terms of use, entering a password or room number, or logging in with provided credentials.
Test the Connection:
After successfully authenticating, go back to the PS4's network settings and test the internet connection to ensure it's working properly.
