How To Connect Trust Wallet To Metamask in 2 Minutes?
0In this video, I'll show you how to connect your Trust Wallet to Metamask so you can send and receive Ethereum on the blockchain.
Trust Wallet is a secure mobile Ethereum wallet that supports Ethereum and ERC20, ERC721 tokens. It provides a user-friendly interface and security features like encrypted messages and fingerprint authentication. Whereas Metamask is a browser extension that allows you to interact with the Ethereum blockchain.
In order to connect your trust wallet to your metamask, follow the instructions below:
1. First download the android emulator on your computer, (in my case I have downloaded the bluestacks 5 android emulator) simply click it open.
2. Download the metamask application from the playstore and open it.
3. Click on the Import Using Secret Recovery Phrase button at the bottom.
4. Type in your secret recovery phrases and a new password and confirm the password by typing it again in the text box that appears on the display. (You can import any other wallet into your metamask)
5. Open up your trust wallet app and sign in to your trust wallet account.
6. Go to the Settings button at the lower right-hand corner and click on the Wallets option at the top. All of the wallets available will be displayed on the screen.
7. Now, click on the three dots right next to the wallet. On the next page, click on Show Recovery Phrase.
8. Click on I understand the risks link at the bottom (It says that the recovery phrase is the master key to your funds, and you should not share it with anyone else if you don't want to lose your funds) and click Continue at the bottom.
9. On the next page, you'll see your recovery phrase, copy the phrases by clicking on Copy. Open up your metamask app, type in the recovery phrases that you just copied from the trust wallet in the first text box, and create a new password on the next field.
10. Type in the password one more time in the next field to confirm the password and finally click on Import. Wait for a few seconds and click on Done on the next page.
