How to Counter A Gravity Hammer Spawn Camper | Halo Infinite
3This is an old(er) clip that I got before the season 5 changes to the hammer because it contains my first and second Extermination medals in Halo Infinite and the 2nd and 3rd Extermination medals in general, but the counter method still applies.
Simply, as soon as you spawn, don't move. This is something that I figured out a while ago through trial and error. What I understand is, as soon as you spawn in Halo Infinite, you have an invincibility period. It lasts for a couple of seconds then ends OR ends immediately as soon as you move. So, when you move you're no longer invincible, and can take damage. So, simply don't move. As you can see in the beginning of the clip, I didn't move and didn't die, instead I simply flew into the air, taking no damage in the process. This is was because I didn't move.
I don't know if moving your mouse/aiming breaks the invincibility period, but as you can also see in the first clip, I tried to move the mouse as little as possible until I get an opening.
