How to Create a Drive Link for Photos !
0If you want to create a Google Drive link for your photos to easily share them with others, the process is simple and can be done on both your computer and mobile device. Start by opening Google Drive through your browser at drive.google.com or by using the Google Drive app on your phone. Once you’re in Google Drive, tap the “+” (New) button usually located at the bottom right of the screen. From the menu that appears, select “Upload,” then choose the photo from your gallery or file manager that you want to upload. After selecting the photo, tap “Done” to begin the upload process. Wait until the upload is complete—you can check the status in the “Recent” section of your Drive.
Once your photo is uploaded, locate it in your Drive and tap the three dots (more options) next to the photo. From the menu, select the “Share” option. In the sharing settings, tap on “Manage Access.” By default, the access will be set to “Restricted,” meaning only you can view it. To make it shareable, tap “Change,” then select “Anyone with the link.” This setting allows anyone with the link to view the photo without needing to sign in. After changing the access settings, tap the link icon or “Copy Link” option to copy the shareable link to your clipboard.
To verify the link works, you can paste it into your browser and see if the photo opens correctly. You can then share this link via email, messaging apps, or any other platform. This method is perfect for sharing photos without having to send large files directly, making it convenient for personal, professional, or collaborative purposes.
