How to Create Ticket From Odoo 18 Website | Odoo 18 New Features | Odoo 18 Release | Odoo 18 Website
Create a Helpdesk Team:
Go to Helpdesk -- Configuration -- Helpdesk Teams.
Click Create.
Fill in the team's name, email, and other relevant information.
Enable the Website Form option.
Save the team.
Create a Website Page:
Go to Website -- Pages.
Click Create.
Choose a suitable template (e.g., "Contact Us").
In the content editor, add a Form block.
Configure the form fields:
Name: Required
Email: Required
Phone: Optional
Subject: Required
Description: Required (for the ticket message)
Map the form fields to Helpdesk fields:
In the form block settings, map the form fields to the corresponding Helpdesk fields (e.g., "Name" to "Customer Name," "Email" to "Email," "Subject" to "Subject," "Description" to "Description").
Set the Helpdesk Team: Select the team you created earlier.
Publish the page.
Test the Form:
Visit the published page on your website.
Fill in the form fields.
Submit the form.
Verify Ticket Creation:
Go to Helpdesk in Odoo.
You should see a new ticket created with the information submitted through the website form.
