Step 1: First of all, open your browser and go to facebook.com
Step 2: On the login screen, you want to simply enter your details
Step 3: Enter your email address and the password of the account you are trying to deactivate
Step 4: Once you enter your details, simply click on the login.
Step 5: On the top right, click on the right arrow and select Settings and Privacy
Step 6: Select Settings again
Step 7: On the left-hand side, simply click on Your Facebook Information.
Step 8: Scroll down to the bottom and select Deactivation and Deletion
Step 9: Choose Deactivate and the reasons you want to delete
Step 10: Enter your password and confirm the deactivation process.
