How to Delete Auto TEXT on Keyboard using the Nintendo Switch (Predicative Text)
To remove predictive text data from your Nintendo Switch keyboard, follow these steps:
Navigate to System Settings:
From the Home Screen on your Switch, select System Settings.
Access the System Menu:
In the System Settings screen, scroll down on the left and select System.
Formatting Options:
Scroll all the way down on the right side of the System menu and choose Formatting Options.
Reset Keyboard:
Within the Formatting Options menu, you’ll find an option called Reset Keyboard. Select it.
Select User Profile (if applicable):
If you have multiple user profiles set up on your Switch, you’ll be prompted to choose the user for whom you want to delete keyboard data. Make your selection.
Confirm the Reset:
Finally, you’ll see a warning prompt. Confirm the reset, and your Switch’s keyboard data will be as fresh as the day you unboxed it!
Nintendo’s addition of granular control options like this gives users more flexibility over their consoles. If you have any other system controls you’d like to see on your Switch, feel free to share your thoughts!
