In this beginners guide tutorial I show you how to delete or wipe specific items, loot, gear or weapons from your DayZ Community server, and then spawn them in at lower or vanilla levels, using the cfgingnorelist.xml file.

It's important to make sure that the class name entry in your types.xml file has the correct amount of items you want, then the ignore list will delete the excess items from your DayZ Community Server for PC, PlayStation & Xbox consoles.

In this example I show you the technique on my Local Server, and I'm "correcting" the excess amount of sledgehammers we added to the Server in a previous tutorial!

Of course a large number of unwanted loot items on your sever can often be the result of a server file editing error, but you can fix that problem with this method.
