In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you how, or at least give you some ideas on starting to figure out how to, count the total number of buildings or structures on a DayZ Community Server map, like Chernarus, Livonia or Sakhal.

In this particular example I show you how to count the number of Churches or Military Tents. Just be careful that this method might not be completely accurate or fool proof!

The technique we use is to download the DayZ Server files from Steam, open up the mapgrouproto.xml file in Notepad ++. then use the "find all" function to look for the buildings we want.
