To remove a payment method on your Xbox Series X|S, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Scroll to the Profile & system tab and select it.
Select Settings.
Scroll down to Account and select it.
Select Payment & billing.
Select Payment options.
Find the payment method you want to remove and select it.
Select Remove.

Confirm that you want to remove the payment method.
If you have trouble removing a payment method, check if the payment method is being used by other Xbox accounts or non-Xbox subscriptions. If so, change the payment method for those accounts and subscriptions before attempting to remove the payment method again
