How to Connect & Setup your Xbox Wireless Headset to Xbox (Easy Tutorial)
Let’s get your Xbox Wireless Headset set up and connected to your Xbox Series X or S. Here are the steps:
Powering Up:
Locate the green power button on the back of the left earcup of your headset.
Press this button to turn on the headset. You’ll hear a startup tone, and the power light (above the power button) and mute light (at the tip of the headset microphone) will turn on.
If the headset doesn’t power up, ensure it’s charged (see step 2).
Charging the Headset:
Connect your headset to a power source using the included USB-C cable.
Allow it to charge fully before proceeding.
Pairing the Headset with an Xbox Console:
Make sure both the headset and your Xbox Series X or S console are powered on.
Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds.
You’ll hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
Press the Pair button on your console (the same button used to pair a wireless controller).
When the headset and console connect, the power lights on both devices will stop flashing.
Pairing via Bluetooth (Optional):
If you want to use Bluetooth, turn on the headset and put it in pairing mode (hold the green power button for 4 seconds).
On your Windows, Android, or iOS device, go to the Bluetooth connections menu and scan for available devices.
Look for “Xbox Wireless Headset” and connect to it.
Enjoy Your Wireless Audio:
Once paired, your headset is ready to use for gaming, chat, and more!
