0If you want to delete your second Instagram account, the process is simple. Instagram, managed under Meta, allows you to have multiple accounts linked to the same Account Center. To permanently delete your second account, follow these steps.
First, open the Instagram app and log in to your primary account. Tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner, then tap the three-line menu in the top right. From the menu, go to "Settings and Privacy" and select "Account Center." In the Account Center, find the "Personal Details" section and tap on "Account Ownership and Control." Here, select "Deactivation or Deletion."
At this point, you’ll see a list of accounts linked to your Meta Account Center. Select your second Instagram account—the one you want to delete. Once selected, tap on "Delete Account," then tap "Continue." Instagram will ask you to choose a reason for deletion. Select any option and tap "Continue" again. Finally, enter your Instagram password to confirm the deletion.
After confirming, your second Instagram account will be scheduled for deletion. Keep in mind that Instagram gives you a grace period (usually 30 days) to recover the account if you change your mind. If you don’t log back in within that time, the account will be permanently deleted.
