Steps:

- Open kik and tap on the settings cog from the top right corner of the homepage.

- Tap on the “help & about us” option at the bottom of the page.

- Tap help.

- Search for “deactivate your account” in the search bar.

- Select permanent deactivation. Scroll down to the “permanent deactivation website” link and tap on that.

- Now enter your username and email into the relevant text fields. And choose your reason for leaving kik.

- Tick the checkbox that you understand that you are permanently deactivating your kik account and then tap go.

- You now need to go to the email that is connected to your kik account and open the email that kik has sent you.

- At the bottom of the email from kik, tap on the “permanently deactivate” button.
