Steps:

- Open the twitter app and make sure you are logged into your account.

- From the homepage of twitter tap on the menu hamburger from the top left corner.

- From the menu that opens, Tap on settings and privacy.

- Tap on account, from the settings and privacy menu.

- Now scroll to the bottom of account and tap on ‘deactivate your account’

- Tap deactivate again.

- You will now have to put in your password to confirm its you, then tap deactivate again.

- Tap ‘yes, deactivate’ on the popup.

- Your twitter account has been deactivated!
