How to Delete your Minecraft World on PC (Easy Tutorial)
Deleting a Minecraft world on PC is straightforward. Here are a couple of methods you can use:
In-Game Method (Bedrock Edition):
Launch Minecraft and go to the main menu.
Select the world you want to delete.
Click on “Edit” (the pencil icon) next to the world.
Scroll down to the “Game” section.
Find the “Delete World” option and confirm the deletion.
Note that if you’re on PlayStation, you may be able to restore the world from the cloud.
Directly from Files (Java Edition):
Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
Type %appdata%\.minecraft and hit Enter.
Navigate to the “saves” folder.
Locate the folder corresponding to the world you want to delete.
Right-click on it and choose “Delete” (Windows) or move it to the trash (Mac).
Remember that once you delete a world, it cannot be retrieved unless you have a backup. Choose the method that suits your edition (Java or Bedrock) and follow the steps accordingly. Happy crafting!
