How to Change Players Permission Level in Minecraft (Visitor or Member)
In Minecraft, permission levels determine what actions players can perform. Here’s how to change permission levels:
Java Edition:
Level 1 (Moderator): Bypass spawn protection.
Level 2 (Gamemaster): Use more commands and command blocks.
Level 3 (Admin): Access multiplayer management commands.
Level 4 (Owner): Use all commands, including server management commands.
Bedrock Edition:
Permission levels: 0 (Any/Normal), 1 (Game Directors/Operator), 2 (Admin/Host), 3 (Host/Automation), and 4 (Owner/Admin).
Command blocks have a permission level of 1.
The console of a server has a permission level of 4.
Remember that permission levels differ from the levels shown in the pause menu screen and “Player Permission” screen in Bedrock Edition. If you’re an operator in a singleplayer world, your command permission level is always 3. Enjoy managing your Minecraft world!
